![]() You will need to find a small terminal pin, I was fortunate to have extra VW connectors laying around. You should see the wire sticking out of the bundle or wires and that is because I added that wire to terminal 33. I have some pictures showing the wires you need to splice from the IC and the ABS connector with the ADDED wire to terminal 33 to obtain the VSS. I spliced into that wire after removing the IC, you can probably find it somewhere else but I don't know exactly. ![]() When you open up the ABS connector, you will see an empty slot for terminal 33, which means you need to insert a new terminal pin and run that to the Instrument cluster green connector pin 5, which is brown/red wire. There is an impulse signal from terminal 34, which reads 3 times the actual speed. As some may know, the 2002 A4 do not have the VSS from the ABS. So I decided to post some pictures to let you guys know how I obtained the VSS from the ABS. Some people have contacted me about finding a VSS from the ABS.
